Not 100% confirmed, but to date, the closest I've been able to find, this BSA motorcycle lapel pin [crucially, with what appears to be a distinctive, red, enamelled logo at the base] can be found on the screen-right side of Lister's leather jacket between Series III-IV - specifically, to the right of his US Space Command patch. Appearing in only one series to date, it seems to have... fell-off... before the start of Series IV.
For those not in the know, 'BSA' is the initialization for Birmingham Small Arms Company, then-based in Small Heath, and specializing in the manufacture of motorcycles and firearms. Wow, we won't see the like of those sort of days, again.
Measures approximately 33mm x 35mm.

Just shy of three years on from this article, Facebook page and cunning chutney-stained clothier Dress Like Smeg has kindly dropped me a line to say they recently found a close-up image in a Smegazine that confirms this is indeed a BSA pin, and not one of the similar types such as Vespa, Norton, or the slew of very similarly designed pins for a number of football clubs. Thought as much. Marvellous.
