As found on the screen-left sleeve of Lister's latest leather jacket from Series X-onwards, the Corvette 25 patch marks the Twenty-fifth, or Silver, Anniversary since Chevrolet first began making the 'Vette.
Crafted using striking white, black, and red thread on silver backing, the patch celebrates the first quarter-century of manufacture for the sports car, spanning the years 1953-1978, and features the iconic chequered racing flag crossed with an opposing red version featuring a white bow-tie, and fluer-de-lis; which, when combined, forms the symbol that comprises the classic Corvette badge.
Snappy cars, to be sure. Personally, I've always preferred Bentley V8 convertibles. Walnut burr panelling. Marvellous machines. Marvellous.
