The second of what can only be described as the 'Holy Poppadom Trilogy', can be found just above the 27th CRS patch on Lister's screen-left sleeve of his leather jacket between Series III-V, plus Back To Earth. As with the 27th CRS patch, this design also briefly moved over to the Series X jacket, more centrally-placed, on the rear side. Likewise, as far as I can tell, it did not appear in any recent episodes.
The F-14 Tomcat patch is deceptively small, and is often mistaken for larger versions, which are also available. The one seen in Red Dwarf is closer to 88mm x 75mm, and in my experience, the best way to check is simply compare in size to the STS-41G Garneau-Scully-Power patch above it, which we'll be looking at next. Also, the American flag artwork should be tilted, rather than straight-on.
A version of, if not this very patch, can also be found on Pete "Maverick" Mitchell's jumpsuit in Tony Scott's aerial masterpiece, Top Gun, which also happens to feature an undeniably cool, main character describing themselves as, "dangerous." Coincidence?! Yes.
