Mack Pin [Series III-V]

Sometimes you just have to say, "Posting a sensible list of pins & patches in an easily-referable and straightforward manner... who gives a smeg?"

The rectangular Mack pin measures approximately 37mm x 13mm, and can be found on Lister's leather jacket between Series III - V, directly beneath the Apollo XIII patch.

There are at least a couple of versions of this pin, the other I found being, for want of a better word, flatter. I believe, the more-accurate type features the silver letters slightly protruding from its blue enamel base.

Mack Trucks Inc. is a US-based automotive manufacturer, founded over a century ago in 1900, Brooklyn, New York. Hmm, how would I work this into continuity, then? Well, you know how Caterpillar Inc. manufactures the P-5000 Power Loader in, Aliens? Well, I'd like to think that some day, Mack is the company that manufacture Hopper taxis, on Mimas. And, maybe around that time, Hollister's estranged twin brother will meet a fateful end on Acheron. Yep. That'll do.
